The European School of Management and Technology, also known as ESMT Berlin, is a private non-profit business school based in Berlin, Germany. ESMT Berlin is the highest-ranked business school in Germany and Top 10 in Europe. Focusing on leadership, innovation, and analytics, its diverse faculty publishes outstanding research in top academic journals. Additionally, the international business school provides an interdisciplinary platform for discourse between politics, business, and academia.
PWF Studio transformed ESMT Berlin’s Master Program marketing by creating a visually captivating prospectus and a comprehensive marketing campaign. We designed bespoke illustrations of famous Berlin landmarks, including two different styles to showcase the city’s diversity. Infographics were used to simplify complex program information.
ESMT Berlin, a leading business school, approached PWF Studio with the goal of revamping their Master Program marketing materials and creating a captivating campaign to attract prospective students. They sought a holistic approach that not only included a visually appealing prospectus but also an entire marketing campaign to promote their Master Programs. We developed a comprehensive campaign that showcased both the program and the vibrant city of Berlin.
To capture the essence of Berlin and engage potential students, PWF Studio developed a prospectus featuring bespoke illustrations in two different styles. The first style incorporated realistic architectural drawings of famous landmarks such as the Berlin Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church, and the Fernsehturm Berlin. These illustrations were thoughtfully chosen to highlight the historical and cultural significance of the city.
The second style involved a more modern and vibrant illustration technique to showcase the innovative and dynamic nature of ESMT Berlin’s master programs. This style included illustrations of business professionals engaging in collaborative activities in state-of-the-art facilities, expressing the hands-on learning approach offered by the institution.
Recognising the importance of presenting large amounts of copy in an easily digestible manner, PWF Studio integrated infographics throughout the prospectus. Infographics visually summarized complex data, making it easier for readers to understand important program details, admission requirements, and potential career paths. This inclusion enabled prospective students to quickly grasp essential information, enhancing their decision-making process.
In order to immerse potential students in the Berlin experience, PWF Studio designed and produced various marketing materials. These included tent cards featuring key program details and visuals to be placed on tables during recruitment events. Lanyards were created for the staff and students to wear, branded with ESMT Berlin’s logo and tagline, enhancing brand visibility.
Billboards and ad boards were strategically placed in high foot-traffic areas, both within the campus and across the city. The signage displayed compelling visuals and concise program information, piquing curiosity and inviting potential students to learn more. Digital ads were optimised for online platforms to reach a wider audience, targeting prospective students interested in master-level education.
PWF Studio also produced fully bespoke animations to further engage the audience. These animations, incorporating the secondary illustration style, portrayed exciting aspects of ESMT Berlin’s master programs and student life. A bespoke voice-over was carefully crafted to create a cohesive narrative, providing important details and highlights of the offerings. Thus, the animations served as a powerful tool to captivate potential students and leave a lasting impression.
The prospectus and marketing campaign created by PWF Studio for ESMT Berlin’s master programs received overwhelmingly positive feedback. The bespoke illustrations and engaging visuals effectively portrayed the vibrant atmosphere and unique learning opportunities offered at ESMT Berlin. The comprehensive marketing materials, ranging from traditional print to cutting-edge digital ads, successfully attracted prospective students from various demographics.
