Our goal? To modernise their identity, boost industry engagement, and provide a platform that serves the needs of their members and the broader industry.
From a sleek new logo to dynamic online features, we’ve reimagined FeRFA for a fast-paced, tech-forward future.
At the heart of FeRFA’s transformation was a bold reimagination of their logo. The new design is built from three clean, right-angle lines that subtly form an abstract “F.” But the significance of these angles runs deeper—they represent precision, a core value in resin flooring where exact measurements and flawless finishes are paramount. The design also symbolises the strong foundation FeRFA provides to its members, echoing stability, professionalism, and innovation.
This new identity set the stage for an ambitious rebrand that resonated across every medium. For events like FeRFA’s annual awards ceremonies, the brand came to life with vibrant visuals, presentations, and tactile branding elements. Digital platforms like the website carried the sleek, modern identity consistently, while marketing materials used the new design language to elevate communication. Even the smallest details, like branded merchandise, reflected the refreshed personality, embedding the new brand into the daily workflow of professionals across the industry.
The new FeRFA emblem does more than just represent the brand—it tells a story. Displayed over striking resin textures, it mirrors the intricate artistry and colourful possibilities of resin flooring itself. This approach made the brand instantly relatable to its audience while capturing the creative potential of resin as a material.
We ensured the logo wasn’t just versatile – it was impactful. The standalone emblem can live independently as a recognisable mark, creating flexibility in its use across social media, marketing campaigns, and branded products. To further extend its reach, we introduced a dynamic animated version of the logo. The movement of the animation suggests energy and growth, making it perfect for digital-first applications such as video content and interactive website banners. With this, FeRFA doesn’t just look modern – it feels alive.
We didn’t just want FeRFA to be seen; we wanted it to be used. This vision came to life with branded promotional items tailored for professionals in the resin flooring industry.
Mixing buckets, essential for preparing resin, were customised with the FeRFA logo and branding elements. These buckets became a visual reminder of FeRFA’s leadership every time resin was poured or applied. Similarly, branded tape measures brought the brand directly into the hands of contractors during installations, reinforcing FeRFA’s role in supporting precision and quality.
The focus was on creating products that weren’t just giveaways but useful tools of the trade. These items also created a sense of pride and professionalism among members, helping them showcase their connection to a trusted industry leader.
FeRFA’s website was designed to break away from the ordinary. Every feature was crafted to engage and intrigue, starting with a horizontal case study slider that redefined how users interact with content. Instead of the expected vertical scroll, this slider provided a dynamic, tactile experience that encourages exploration. This decision was about more than aesthetics – it was a deliberate choice to embody the creativity and forward-thinking ethos of the FeRFA brand.
To keep the user experience immersive, we added animations that reveal text as you scroll, creating moments of surprise and engagement. The FeRFA icon lines subtly guide the user down the page, enhancing navigation while visually reinforcing the brand. These small details worked together to create a site that felt cohesive, engaging, and uniquely aligned with FeRFA’s identity.
We crafted bespoke iconography that added a layer of clarity and sophistication, making navigation intuitive and enjoyable. These icons weren’t just decorative – they served to highlight key sections of the site, breaking down complex information into easy-to-digest visuals.
A robust case study filter system was implemented to allow users to sort projects by type, ensuring they could quickly find relevant examples. This feature was particularly valuable for members looking to showcase their work or clients seeking specific solutions.
To further elevate the experience, we developed interactive sliders that condensed longer blocks of text into manageable, visually appealing sections. This approach made heavy content feel light and engaging, encouraging users to stay on the site longer and explore more. The resource grid became a hub of industry-specific materials, from technical guides to best practices, reinforcing FeRFA’s role as a trusted knowledge base.
The training section of FeRFA’s website became a pivotal feature, designed to meet the needs of an industry committed to growth and professional development. This section showcases NVQ courses and training modules, each presented with clear, detailed information. Every course page includes an overview, downloadable brochures, and accordion-style FAQs that address common questions without overwhelming the user with text.
One standout feature is the integrated “Enrol Now” functionality. By clicking the button, users are taken directly to an enrolment form embedded within the site. This form automatically sends submissions to FeRFA’s support email, streamlining the process and reducing administrative workload. What used to be a time-intensive task is now a seamless, automated system that benefits both users and staff.
To provide exclusive value to FeRFA members, we built a members-only area packed with features tailored to their needs. At its heart is an interactive bulletin board, where members and FeRFA staff can communicate and collaborate in real time. The industry calendar ensures members are always in the know about upcoming events, training sessions, and deadlines.
The members-only hub also includes a premium downloads section, giving access to high-value content such as technical documentation, industry reports, and exclusive guidelines. Members also unlock restricted areas of the main site, gaining a sense of privilege and exclusivity that reinforces their connection to FeRFA.
Finally, the entire site is fully responsive, ensuring an optimised experience on any device. Whether accessing the site from a desktop at the office or a smartphone on the job, members and users alike can easily navigate, explore, and interact with FeRFA’s extensive resources.
